Project: Stein

At the northern border of Switzerland, the Rhine makes its graceful loops. One of these loops covers our apartment house “The Riverside” in Stein at Rheinbrückstrasse 18.

Project: Stein

Building description

Next to the historic wooden bridge on the banks of the Rhine is the former Lindt factory, which was shut down for 30 years until we brought it back to life. Once a chocolate factory, the completely renovated apartment building with 2.5 to 4.5 room apartments today produces a zest for life. The apartments are equipped with modern open kitchens, balconies and terraces. Noble oak parquet flooring covers the floors of the living areas and Italian ceramic tiles decorate the wet rooms. With a view of the Rhine and the old town of Bad Säckingen a charming view is provided. Through the triple-glazed windows you and your loved ones can enjoy the peace and quiet. Furthermore, each apartment has a washing machine and tumble dryer and with two underground parking spaces, our residents do not have to make any compromises in mobility.

Location

The surroundings offer a wide range of entertainment. In the medieval small town there are various shops, small cafés and bars. For cultural experiences there is the possibility to visit the theatre, a museum or the municipal library. A quiet afternoon on the riverbank for fishing, relaxing or doing sports is also a great opportunity.

Last but not least, the German old town of Bad Säckingen is only a stone’s throw away. The city can be reached via the Säckingerbrücke, which is the longest wooden bridge in Europe and a cultural asset of national importance.
